Daddy: Updates

I am in the hospital now, accompanying dad.

He was supposed to go for the brain surgery this morning, but due to no icu room available, his surgery has been postponed. 

Doctor just came in and spoke to him for awhile, and told us that once the appointment for the surgery is fixed, then dad can be discharged today. 

God's timing is always the perfect timing. Dad is definitely in good hands. So many beloveds are praying for him. And our Lord Jesus Christ is saying that he is healed too during the last midweek service thru the mouth of Pastor Prince.

Lord, I don't know why is this postpone happened. But Lord, I know, Your timing is surely the best timing. If You allow the postpone, I know, we all know, it's for better arrangement. Thank You Lord! 

Playing Still Water for dad as he finds peace while listening to the melody from this cd. And hopefully he can feels God's love for him and His perfect love will cast the fear out from him. 

All shall be well. In Jesus' name. Amen!

Today is definitely an emotional roller coaster day. I mean yesterday, 27 Aug 2014.

Received a voice message from Sannie that dad has agreed to go for surgery to remove the growth in his right brain. And he will be admitted straight away for blood test, MRI will be done on Thursday and surgery will be on Friday. 

To be honest, how not to be not worry about him. Being the one who saw him broke down and cry during his last visit in the hospital, I knew that he has so much fear in his heart. And I know that I won't be able to cast out his fear as only Jesus' perfect love can do so. 

So, I texted almost all the closest friends in church for prayer request. I knew that only God can work the miracles in ny life and in dad's life too. I have to ask for help. I need to be humbled and ask for help from all my close friends and leaders. 

My choir leader Crystal, JieYun and Xiwen are very supportive in praying and speak forth the blessing for me, dad and my family. JieYun even met me after the midweek service to pray for me in person. Crystal has got Natalie and Winston to inform pastoral service and Eng Chuan, if I get his name right, from pastoral service called up at 6pm plus and prayed for me over the phone. 

My WWJD family is always awesome anf they have supported me in many ways, by prayer, by being in person with me, by sharing good seats with me. I really treasure and love them a lot. Watched What Jesus Does! 

And my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He is the most awesome person in my life. 

I had two answered prayer in one evening. One is about job that I applied. I have told God on Tuesday night that if this is His opened door for me, let them call me on Wednesday to fix an appointment for the interview. And they called.

The other one was not even a prayer request. I was just hoping in my heart that Pastor Prince will pray for my dad's healing during the service. And he did! He prayed a very specific prayer for my dad that whoever knew about my dad's case will have no choice but know that that prayer is for my dad, me and my family. Pastor prayed for healing for our loved one back at home! How awesome! 

I was moved to tears when we started to worship with I Sing Praises To Your Name. For the first time, I saw Pastor Prince on his knee, submitting himself in the presence pf our Lord Jesus. I knew that He is there for the church, and then I realised that He is there for me! Tears just flown as it was so touched. And when pastor prayed the prayer for healing for my loved one back at home, straight away I claimed it for my dad, for healing and restoration for my dad! 

Lord Jesus, You are ever so wonderful! I love You because You first loved me! Hallelujah! 

And after the service, I met up with JDFC's member: Justina, Nellwyn, Camila, Jann, Norma. After JieYun prayed for me and dad, we went to Holland Village for a cuppa. And the night was so wonderful because I spent time with God's Beloveds.

I was watching a TV program on channel 8 - 星期二特寫：好人好事 - 愛之病病患的義工。

人在生病時，最需要的三樣東西： Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness. P

Aquarium: Thank you Mermaids

I was so surprise to receive this love offering from my team mates, Pearline & of coz, my bosss!

Thank you all! Am so touched.. and this is so unexpected. 

Thank you Lord for answer prayer for financial provision for my dad's medical bill. Such underserved, unearned and unmerited favour from You alone Lord! 

It doesn't matter how much that I received, but it's your thoughts that counts and touched my heart. 

My God who is almighty shall bless each and every one of you exceedingly, abundantly, above all you can ask or even imagine. In Jesus' name. Amen and amen!

Elf's: Dessert for two

We met up last night for dessert... 

I was staying up late in the office to gather the childcare info that he needs. 

(Well, I am his PA now and he gives me task to complete... like a game...)

He wanted to give me a treat for dinner, but I was too full, so, we settled for dessert.

This is our favourite... Thai coconut from 320 Below Nitro Cream Cafe, located at Mackenzie Road, near Little India MRT station.

He has decided to order waffle with 2 scopes of ice-cream to share. 

To share? That surprised me coz he usually doesn't share food. But, yes, we shared the desserts.

He has opted for Thai Coconut, and I chose Rum & Raisins, for a try.

Dessert for two, and a very nice sunflower painting on a paper cup.

We talked a lot. He told me that the Malay girls at his office tends to like to flirt with him and he doesn't know why.

Honestly, I was angry to know that there are girls out there flirting with him, staring at him and flirting with him, with he notices that. 

But, the night was good. He had a new hairdo, he combed his hair neatly, and look really good in my eyes, very decent and smart. I love it!

Okay, I should wake up.

We are celebrating Singapore's 49th birthday in advance today!

There were a few contest and our department took part of two contests: best dress & most like instagram photo.

This is our pic! And we won the 2nd place, $10 fairprice voucher is our prize. :)

Praise Jesus for the favour and we won the 4th place in best dress contest as well. Hehe!

Okay, the reaason why I am so excited is, I have a crushed on KC when I first met him during Chingay 2012. He is such charming and talented guy. Later on, I realised he is also the one who wrote my favourite worship song - Sanctuary.

Daddy: Updates

Just spoken to dad few hours and few minutes ago. Yes, I called home twice and spoke to him twice.

The first call was good. He sounded clear and loud and can hear me clearly. 

The second call was not so. Talked not so clear and can't hear me clearly too. 

And he told me that he felf his left side body is getting weaker. Felt like not his own body sometimes. 

Abba! Help! I don't know how and what to do. I need guidance. Please send someone to guide me Lord. I am very worried and afraid. 

Suddenly remembered the sermon I heard during lunch time. Pray in the spirit. And pray till the peace come, pray through the fearful feeling.
