It's the perfect 7th day of our training... technically, all are overwhelmed by the detailed of the info... this including our trainer as well. And our trainer is such a lovely lady, she gave us extra breaks in between, knowing that all of us are truly exhausted by all the miles and redemption, award.. and etc...
One of our team member opted out from the program today, and we were told that he felt that this is not suitable for him, so, he chose to discontinue. Well, we can only wish him all the best for his future, but he has definitely set a bad example or at least, left a negative effect to all the team members, that some or all might think that it's okay to give up, without even really hands on the job. What Hani said is right, at least give ourselves 2-3 months to see after we are on the call floor, not just give up half way during the training. Well, just my personal opinion, of coz.
The team was requested by Hani to sing me a birthday song at the beginning of the day. It was quite sweet, and warm. It must be You, right? :)
We ended the day with a 'heavy' heart, knowing that we will be having our first assessment on tomorrow as well as on Thursday, and the passing % is 80%!!! I shall pass the assessment with flying colours because Jesus is with me, He is my supply, one and only shepherd! Hallelujah!
He has made everything beautiful in it's time.

Elf's: Goodbye Mr Lee Kuan Yew (1923 - 2015)
With the Singapore nation sending Mr Lee Kuan Yew for the very last journey on earth, it had marked the end of Mr Lee's legendary. But. we believe that his spirit will never end.
Many has started to look back unto what has Mr Lee done for the country, their clean and well equipped HDB residency, the garden city country, clean environment, ppl with spirit of excellent, and many more that I might not know...
Looking back at how Singapore has grow from a 3rd world country in SEA unto a 1st world well-developed country now, the credits are truly for Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
Today, it rains heavily not just in Singapore, but as well as in KL.. It is as is the Heaven is feeling for the people too, that it is a loss for the world. I am extremely sentimental too, because I feel for Mr LHL, he lost his father, and I too lost my father about 3 months ago...
RT has been text-ing me with the video he took "live" from Buona Vista as the cortege will be passing by there today. However, it was raining and he did not stand at the right place, hence, he did not get to see the team. But, I really appreciate his effort in sharing with me the "live" situation there. Thanks kuya!
Mr Lee Kuan Yew, see you in heaven, okay? Many has shared that Mr Lee has accepted Jesus and is saved, and I chose to believe it as well. Perhaps, my dad is assigned as his buddy in heaven now? Hahaha!

Elf's: In memory of Mr Lee Kuan Yew
I woke up with an excited expectation yesterday as it was my niece's 3rd birthday, and we had many plans for her celebration. But when I check on FB and found out on the passing of Mr Lee Kuan Yew, my heart sank.
I do not know him too well, I only read about him in books, and recently on the posts on FB. However, as I had been working in Singapore for the past 8 years ++, I do understand that without Mr Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore will not be the Singapore now.
Thank you Mr Lee Kuan Yew. You will be greatly missed by your nation, as well as many people from all over the world, including me.

Elf's: Finally...
Finally, I have tendered my resignation letter to boss, and my official last day with the company will be on 04th March 2015 (040315).
It is a mixed feeling, ups and downs, happy and sad. But I know, this is the right decision to make.
Counting down for the day, and foreseeing many farewell outings, as well as teasing from JR.

Elf's: Supper with JR
We met up last night for supper after my late dinner at Crystal Jade @ Holland Village.
JR was craving for steak, yes, steak @ 11pm..... Yes, 11.00pm, 2300...
And to our surprise, we did manage to find a steaks' place at this hour.
iSteaks Grillhouse is the place! It is actually located in the Holland Village Hawker Center and JR discovered this place while I was withdrawing $ from the ATM nearby.
I now know, not that he never told me before, but I see with my eyes now, he really loves steaks. And how he can behave like a child when he is craving for his favourite food!
After getting a table, he quickly join in the queue to order his 250gm rib eyes steak ($19.50) and he likes it medium.

Look at the steak, so thick & juicy... I was sooooo tempted to ask for a bite from him, but alas, I stopped myself. He doesn't like to share food, or I should say taste other people's food, but he doesn't mind if other will be trying his. So, I thought I should respect him by not tasting his food too, to be fair... :)
And he wallowed up all the food on the plate in less than 20 minutes... and he looked so satisfied after finished up the food. A satisfy man is a happy man! Lol~! And I am happy and satisfy too to see how happy and satisfied he was.
After he was fully satisfies, straight away we headed to hunt for a place to have a drink. Actually, I was asking if he wants to have beer at the hawker centre, but he did not allow me to do so... So, we finally decided to go to XinWang located at Lorong Mambong for our drink. He ordered a watermelon ice-blended without sugar while I had my usual hot drink - lemon honey.
We spent our time there, listening to the korean, mandarin & cantonese songs played loudly in the background, chit-chatting with each other, playing bowl with friends on our phone, and chit-chatting...
This meet up was good. I truly enjoy having a friend like JR.
And maybe we both know that I am leaving Sg for good soon, we somehow treasure this time together very much, I am not sure about him, but me, definitely! However, I can sense it from him.
It's so hard to bid farewell... But baby goodbye, doesn't mean forever.. reminded me of a song I once like it very much - Goodbye Girl by Bread.
Well, till we meet again, hopefully soon, and hopefully we can do it often before I return to KL for good.
